Manufactured by adidas, this Liverpool away shirt features the club crest on the chest alongside the adidas logo, with Carlsberg as the main sponsor across the front. The classic adidas three stripes run down the shoulders and sleeves, a hallmark of the brand’s late-2000s football designs. Premier League name and number printing with ALONSO 14 completes the authentic match-day specification.
This striking third shirt is built around a deep black base, contrasted by a bold red wave graphic that sweeps diagonally across the front and back. White detailing on the collar, sleeve cuffs, and adidas stripes sharpens the overall look, while the asymmetrical red accent gives the shirt a dynamic, modern feel for its time. The design is instantly recognisable and widely regarded as one of Liverpool’s most iconic away kits of the adidas era.
The 2007/08 season saw Liverpool reach the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, with Xabi Alonso playing a key role in midfield under Rafael Benítez. Known for his vision, composure, and long-range passing, Alonso embodied Liverpool’s European pedigree during this period. This third shirt captures the club’s mid-2000s identity and stands as a standout piece from one of the most stylistically adventurous eras in Liverpool kit history.
