This is the adidas IFK Göteborg 2012/13 home shirt. It features the club’s classic blue-and-white vertical stripes, adidas three stripes on the shoulders, the IFK Göteborg crest with the gold star above it on the chest, and the large Prioritet Finans sponsor across the front. The white mesh-style side panels and the more fitted overall shape place it very clearly in the early-2010s era of football shirt design, where performance construction started to become much more visible in the look of the shirt itself.
The design stays loyal to Blåvitt’s traditional identity, but it presents it in a cleaner and slightly more technical way than some earlier home shirts. The central blue-and-white stripe block keeps the shirt unmistakably IFK Göteborg, while the plain white sleeves and side panels break up the pattern and give it a lighter, more athletic appearance. Compared with the more formal polo-collar adidas shirts that came after, this one feels a bit sharper and more stripped back.
