This is the Germany 2012 Home Shirt by adidas, featuring Sami Khedira #6 in the DFB nameset. The long-sleeve version is particularly sought after, closely matching the style worn by players during UEFA Euro 2012.
The shirt features a clean white base with bold diagonal black, red and gold pinstripes inspired by the German flag, creating one of adidas' most elegant modern national team designs. Black adidas branding and the three-star DFB crest celebrate Germany's three World Cup triumphs, while the lightweight Formotion construction delivers a premium, match-quality feel.
The 2012 European Championship saw Germany arrive as one of the tournament favourites under Joachim Löw. After winning all three group-stage matches and defeating Greece in the quarter-finals, Germany reached the semi-finals before narrowly losing to Italy. The squad featured stars including Mesut Özil, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Philipp Lahm, Thomas Müller, Mario Gómez and Mats Hummels, representing one of the strongest generations in German football.
Sami Khedira was a key figure throughout the tournament. Wearing the number 6 shirt, he combined defensive stability with powerful box-to-box runs and technical quality. His standout performance came in the quarter-final against Greece, where he scored one of Germany's four goals and produced one of his finest displays in a national team shirt. By this stage, Khedira had established himself as one of Europe's leading midfielders following his move to Real Madrid.
The long-sleeve Formotion version is especially collectible, offering the same high-performance specification used by Germany's players during Euro 2012.
For collectors, the Germany 2012 Home Shirt is one of adidas' finest European Championship designs. Combined with the Sami Khedira #6 nameset, it celebrates one of the strongest German squads of the modern era and one of the country's most complete midfielders.
