The Adidas Germany 2012 Away Football Shirt is one of the most distinctive international shirts of the early 2010s. Worn during UEFA Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine, this authentic shirt features Mario Götze's #19 nameset along with the official UEFA EURO 2012 and Respect sleeve patches. It captures the emergence of one of Germany's brightest young talents just two years before he would score the winning goal in the 2014 FIFA World Cup Final.
At just 20 years old, Mario Götze was regarded as one of Europe's most exciting young playmakers. Fresh off his breakthrough years at Borussia Dortmund under Jürgen Klopp, he brought creativity, vision and technical brilliance to Joachim Löw's talented Germany side. Although Germany were eliminated by Italy in the semi-finals, the tournament showcased a generation featuring Götze, Mesut Özil, Thomas Müller, Manuel Neuer, Sami Khedira and Mats Hummels—many of whom would lift the FIFA World Cup just two years later.
The green away shirt remains one of Adidas' most memorable Germany designs thanks to its unique colour choice and historical significance. Combined with the official Euro 2012 patches and Götze nameset, it represents an important chapter in Germany's journey toward becoming world champions in 2014.
