This is the adidas – Aston Villa 2024/25 away football shirt, shown here with Rogers 27 on the back and full UEFA Champions League sleeve patches. It features a clean off-white / very light grey base, sky blue adidas shoulder stripes, a subtle claret-and-blue trimmed collar, the modern Aston Villa crest on the chest, and Betano as the front sponsor. On the back, the shirt carries Rogers 27, linking it directly to one of Villa’s most exciting attacking players from the current era.
The design is very restrained, which is what makes it strong. Rather than pushing a loud graphic or unusual colour combination, adidas kept the base minimal and allowed the sky blue accents and deep claret sponsor and nameset to do the work. That gives the shirt a refined and premium feel, while still staying unmistakably Aston Villa. The contrast between the pale base and the darker detailing is especially effective on the back, where the Rogers 27 print stands out clearly without feeling too heavy. It is one of those modern away shirts that feels elegant first and technical second.
This shirt is tied to Aston Villa’s 2024/25 season, a period where the club continued building real momentum at the top end of English and European football. With Morgan Rogers on the back, it gains an extra layer of appeal, because he represents the younger, forward-looking side of this Villa team. That makes the shirt feel current, relevant, and a little more distinctive than a blank-backed version. For collectors of modern Aston Villa shirts, Champions League editions, or player-linked current kits, this is a very strong piece.
