This is the Aston Villa 2024/25 home shirt made by adidas, shown here with Rogers 27 on the back. It features Villa’s classic claret body with sky blue sleeves, white adidas branding, the Aston Villa crest on the chest, Betano as front sponsor, and full UEFA Champions League sleeve patches, including the UEFA Foundation badge. The Rogers 27 print ties it directly to Villa’s return to Europe’s elite competition and gives the shirt an extra layer of relevance as a player-linked modern piece.
The design feels very clean and very traditional, but with a more refined edge than some earlier Villa shirts. The claret base is left largely uninterrupted, which gives the shirt a more elegant and mature look, while the sky blue sleeves and striped shoulder detailing keep the identity unmistakably Aston Villa. Compared with busier templates from previous eras, this one is more restrained. That works well, because it lets the colours and silhouette do most of the work. The Rogers 27 nameset suits the shirt especially well, as it adds a contemporary connection to a design that already feels tied to a significant moment in the club’s recent history.
This shirt is most closely associated with Aston Villa’s 2024/25 season, when the club stepped back onto the UEFA Champions League stage. That alone gives it strong collector appeal. The Champions League patches make a big difference, because they place the shirt directly within that European campaign rather than as a standard domestic version. With Rogers 27 on the back, it also connects to one of the younger faces of Villa’s modern squad, which gives it strong appeal for collectors who want a recent-era shirt linked to a player from an important chapter in the club’s resurgence.
